The brix is coming up in all varieties. Some of the earlier blocks are around 20 already with the

rest at about 16. We are finishing up the green thinning and crop thinning. Everything looks

Veraison has started in most varieties with some at 30% already. The weather looks good for the near future and I think we are done with the 100 degree plus days. We are finishing up thinning fruit and cleaning up a little from the rain we got over the weekend. Everything looks really good and clean. I do have some fruit still available, a little Syrah, Cab Franc, Petite Verdot and maybe

Things are starting to grow in the vineyard.  This is about the most beautiful time of the year when the young shoots get out and they are bright green.  In the morning and the evening the sun lights it up like neon.  We got away easy on frost due to being a few weeks late on Spring.  Now we just need some good hot weather through the summer and it will be a great year.  Stay in touch.
